Meghan has been an artist her whole life but in 2023 a chance connection with 2 deep-sea scientists introduced her to the fascinating world of the deep ocean below 1000m, and changed her creative path forever.
Now Meghan uses her Bachelor of Fine Arts to raise awareness for the deepest of watery places through art and writing. She has an upcoming non-fiction children's science book featuring 16 original paintings, and scientifically accurate information on the deep ocean. Intended for inquisitive independent readers aged 9-12, but enjoyable by everyone! Titled The Unusual Ocean: Who Lives in the Deep this book is releasing from Rowman and Littlefield in June of 2026.
